The All-Time Multisport Medal Tally at the Southeast Asian Games

Multisport is back in a big way at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.   For the first time in the biennial meet, aquathlon was included in the competition.   Here is hoping that the 3 multisport disciplines will stay for good in the competition list of the games in Southeast Asia.

AsiaTRI compiled all the medal tally from the sport of Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon in the Southeast Asian Games, all under the stewardship of World Triathlon-the governing body of these multisport disciplines.

The Philippines continues to lord it over the SEA Games tally, winning Gold at more than half the total competition (27 total).   Indonesia is the most-improved country; all their 15 medals came from the last 3 SEA games, starting in 2019.  The most bemedalled individual in this tally is Filipina triathlete Kim Mangrobang who accounts for a third of the gold medals and 2 silvers plus a gold medal in mixed relay triathlon competition.

Come September this year when the 2022 Asian Games will be held in China, we will put up the all-time medal tally of the triathlon competition in the Asian Games.
