Wolkowicz (DEU), Szeto (HKG) win 2020 Ironman 70.3 Bangsaen

Peter Marian Wolkowicz of Germany, and Leanne Szeto of Hong Kong win the overall titles of the 2020 Ironman 70.3 Bangsaen in Thailand.
Wolkowicz used his 4th best bike split and 2nd best run split to win in 4:13:14, a 57 second winning margin over Japanese Kosuke Terasawa (4:14:11). Third was Russian Kirill Goldovskii (4:15:43). Terasawa ran the best run split of the day at 1:20:06.
Szeto used her women’s best 1:33:03 run split to catapult her in to a dominating win over the age group field, finishing with a time of 4:49:37.
Jelena Tomasevic of Montenegro finished in 5:07:29 to finish second and Lindsay Nickel of the USA completed podium with a finish time of 5:07:29.
