Here’s How you can watch the Challenge Family’s The Championship Live

Triathlons fans around the world can put 9:00am CEST on Sunday 29 August in their diary as CHALLENGEFAMILY THECHAMPIONSHIP takes to CHALLENGEFAMILY Facebook Live, broadcasting the battle live between the world’s top athletes for a place on the prestigious podium.

Viewers will watch all the action as it plays out across the men’s and women’s field at the unparalleled x-bionic® sphere in Samorin, Slovakia. Commentary is by Belinda Granger and Dylan McNeice, themselves no strangers to the podium during their triathlon careers.

With over 50 pros athletes on the start line, key contenders in the men’s field include Andreas Dreitz (GER), qualifying with his first place at DATEV CHALLENGEROTH, Frederik Funk (GER), current European Triathlon Middle Distance Champion after his win at CHALLENGEKAISERWINKL-WALCHSEE and Thomas Steger (GER), whose win at CHALLENGERICCIONE secured his place.

The women’s race is equally exciting with Lisa Norden (SWE) a late addition to the start line, qualifying off the back of her third places in CHALLENGEDAYTONA and ANFI CHALLENGEMOGÁN-GRANCANARIA. She joins Sarissa de Vries (NED), who took first in CHALLENGEGDAŃSKCHALLENGERICCIONE and second at ANFI CHALLENGEMOGÁN-GRANCANARIA, and Lucy Hall (GBR), second at CHALLENGEGDAŃSK.

The five-hour plus broadcast is presented by O2 Production, renowned for their quality production values, and is accessed through Facebook Live at https://fb.me/e/645Agw8qL starting at 8:50am CEST on Sunday 29 August with the men’s race start at 9:00am CEST and the women’s race start at 9:10am CEST.

Virtual spectators of THECHAMPIONSHIP can register in advance so they are ready to go when the start gun goes off on Sunday. With many athletes and spectators unable to attend due to COVID travel restrictions, there is a small fee of US$4.99 (payable in local currency) to enable the best quality live stream for viewers at home around the world.
