Top Home Workout Gurus/Apps to Follow Online

If you don’t have a treadmill or a turbo trainer to use for your home workouts, or simply you want to spice up your daily routine aside from your triathlon fitness training, this list can maintain or kickstart your active home-quarantined fitness routine.

The coronavirus pandemic has meant that millions of people globally are locked up inside their homes, adjusting to home-based routines for weeks or even months depending on the severity of the health crisis on your location.

Health experts have consistently encouraged people to do light to moderate exercises to help maintain or improve your immune system, as well as a means to relieve the stress caused about by the pandemic.

The list below are all workout programs designed to be done at home, almost all body-weight exercises and equipment use is kept at the bare minimum (you can use alternative items at home, just make sure to keep safety in mind in doing the routines). Here are the programs to try:

Yoga with Adriene

Triathletes can greatly benefit from a yoga routine. It increases strength and flexibility. Mental endurance are tested through holding postures for extended breaths. Hip flexors (one of the tightest sports in a triathletes body) are stretched and strengthened. Moreover, the soothing calmness voice of yoga instructor Adriene means it is a good stress reliever, improves respiration, energy and vitality.
