PLDT-SMART joins the Inaugural New Clark City Triathlon as Co-Presenting Sponsor

2019 New Clark City Triathlon is set for Sunday, October 20 in Capas, Tarlac

Capas, Tarlac (Sept. 30, 2019) — GoClark Sports and Events along with PLDT-SMART, the country’s leading telecommunications company, is excited to announce a new partnership for the 2019 New Clark City Triathlon, the first triathlon event to be held in the world-class sporting facilities of New Clark City.  PLDT-Smart will co-present the event and will provide the event’s telecommunications and internet connectivity needs.

The New Clark City Triathlon, happening on October 19-20, is one of the most exciting triathlon events in the country, and will highlight the country’s newest world-class sport facilities in the Aquatics Center and the 20,000-seater Athletics Stadium.

The 2019 New Clark City Triathlon will see over 800 triathletes compete for age group award categories in 3 categories on October 20:  1) NCC Tri Full involves a 900-m swim, 40-km bike, and 8-km run; 2) NCC Tri Sprint is a shorter 450-m swim, 20-km bike, and 4-km run triathlon distance category; and 3) NCC Tri Full Relay which also involves 900-m swim, 40-km bike, and 8-km run, is perfect for those not ready to tackle triathlon individually.

To make sure it will be a family-friendly event, a 5-km fun run and kids’ triathlon race will be held a day before the main triathlon race.
