Stellar Professional Field Racing again this weekend in Cebu for the 2019 Ironman 70.3 Philippines

Over 20 top Professional triathletes will compete this weekend when Mactan, Cebu opens its doors once again for the Ironman 70.3 Philippines.   Headlining the professional field will be former winners Tim Reed (AUS), Terrenzo Bozzone (NZL), Caroline Steffen (AUS) and returning defending Champion Mauricio Mendez of Mexico.

The Regent Aguila Ironman 70.3 Philippines will be offering 60 qualifying age group slots for the 2020 Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Taupo, New Zealand.

The race course got a boost when it was allowed again to use the M-loop bike course that will traverse four cities of Cebu province namely Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Cebu City and Talisay in the South Road Properties highway.

This will be the eight straight year that Mactan Cebu, primarily Shangrila Hotel will be hosting the 70.3 event.   The event has pulled around 2,200 atlethes coming from 57 countries.
