This will be an age-group only race, and IRONMAN Gurye, Korea will offer 30 qualifying age group slots for the 2018 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Race day weather is expected to be partly cloudy with highs in 29 degrees C. and lows 19 degrees C.

201 / Mats Allen (23, US), Son of Ironman legends Mark Allen and Julie Moss making his IM debut in Gurye. Julie Moss is here already in Gurye to cheer him on.
192 / Thomas Frühwirth (36, Austria) HC division. Silver medal winner at 2016 paralympics (Individual time trial)
191 / Dae-young Kim(56, Korean) PC division, double arm amputee, a regular at our event but it’ll be his first IM challenge.
