Ironman Announces Cebu, Philippines As Host Of The 2018 Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship

Regent Aguila IRONMAN 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship will take place in Cebu on August 5 2018
IRONMAN announced that IRONMAN 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship will come back to Cebu, Philippines, in 2018. This is the second time Cebu will host the race after the 2016 edition.
The awarding of the IRONMAN 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship to IRONMAN 70.3 Philippines, Cebu continues IRONMAN’s long-standing partnership with Sunrise Events, Inc., the Philippines’s leading sporting event company, which operates Century Tuna IRONMAN Philippines, ALVEO IRONMAN 70.3 Davao, IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam and FOREMOST IRONMAN 70.3 Thailand. 2018 will mark the 10th anniversary of IRONMAN presence in the Philippines.

The number of IRONMAN athletes in Asia has been increasing constantly over the past few years and we’re happy to give them the opportunity to race the AsiaPacific Championship in the region”.

The 2018 Regent Aguila IRONMAN 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship will offer will offer a $75,000 USD professional prize purse (P-2000) and 50 age-group qualifying slots for the 2019 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France.
