Cervelo tops Kona Bike Count again; Zipp, Shimano and ISM reigns

Lavamagazine.com held their annual Kona equipment count, and once again Cervelo is the number 1 bike brand among the top ironman athletes in the world.  The bike manufacturer from Canada showed it was the clear preferred brand, when its count (577) is more than double that of the 2nd placer Trek (261).  Zipp is even more dominant in the race wheels category with 1887 (front+rear count).  Enve’s count is at 289.  Shimano still reigns supreme as the no.1 drivetrain at 1965.   ISM Adamo tops the saddle count.  In front hydration, Profile design edges Xlab 597 to 574.  Xlab topped the rear hydration count.  In powermeters, usage is distributed among the brands with Quarq topping it at 303.   Rudy Project and Giro are 1-2 in the helmet category.  Read the list below for more equipment count listing:
