Top Malaysian Performance Award announced for Ironman 70.3 Putrajaya

Title sponsor TIME is offering one Top Malaysian Male athlete and one Top Malaysian Female athlete a Sunny Coast support package. The top performing Malaysian athletes to qualify for the 2016 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, Sunshine Coast, Australia, will receive sponsorship of up to RM6,000 each for entry fee, travel and accommodation in Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast.

1. This TIME Performance Award is open to one (1) male and one (1) female Malaysian citizen, respectively, who clock in the fastest finishing time in 2016 TIME IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya on 3 April 2016.
2. In order to be granted the TIME Performance Award, the eligible Malaysian male and/or female will need to be entitled for a slot during the roll down ceremony for qualification into the 2016 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Mooloolaba (Queensland, Australia) on 4 September 2016.
3. Under the TIME Performance Award, TIME shall sponsor up to Ringgit Malaysia Six Thousand (RM6,000) (“Sponsored Sum”) per recipient in connection with the recipient(s) participation in 2016 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Mooloolaba (Queensland, Australia) on 4 September 2016.
4. The recipient(s) of the TIME Performance Award shall be required to deal directly with IRONMAN for entry, travel and accommodation arrangements. IRONMAN shall hold the Sponsored Sum on behalf of the recipient(s) to be utilised as prescribed in Paragraph 5 below.
5. The Sponsored Sum must be used to fund the recipient’s entry fee in the individual category of 2016 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Mooloolaba (Queensland, Australia). The balance of the Sponsored Sum may be utilised in any proportion necessary to fund the recipient’s travel expense (flight to/from Australia) and/or accommodation in Mooloolaba (Queensland, Australia). Any payment made (whether for travel expense and/or accommodation or any part thereof) in excess of the Sponsored Sum shall be borne by the recipient personally and reimbursed to IRONMAN accordingly.
6. Exclusions:-
a) For the avoidance of doubt, the sponsor of accommodation expense described in Paragraph 5 above is limited only to nightly room rates. Incidental fees and expenses (e.g. room service, health treatments, etc.) which may be offered by such accommodation shall be borne by the recipient(s) personally.
b) The recipient(s) of the TIME Performance Award shall bear all other expenses related to his and/or her stay in Mooloolaba (Queensland, Australia).
c) All fees, expenses and other costs related to participation in 2016 TIME IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya on 3 April 2016 shall be borne by the participants and shall in no way be reimbursable under this TIME Performance Award.
7. TIME reserves the right to and may refuse the provision of the TIME Performance Award to any individual who does not meet the applicable criteria or adhere to these terms.
8. The grant of the TIME Performance Award is subject to further terms and conditions which must be accepted by the potential recipient(s).
9. All other terms and conditions pertaining to the recipient(s) participation in 2016 TIME IRONMAN 70.3 Putrajaya and 2016 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Mooloolaba (Queensland, Australia) shall continue to apply and the recipient(s) must not be found in breach thereof.
