AsiaTRI Quickly Becoming the Region’s Main Source for Triathlons in the Region

BANGKOK (THAILAND), April 24th Since the official launch in October 2014, AsiaTRI has quickly become the main source of information on triathlons in the region. With its base in Bangkok, the content ranges from the Middle East to Southeast Asia and East Asia.
Since then, AsiaTRI has partnered up with all the main race organizers in the region. Over the past 4 months a total of 21 events have been covered, including all 3 main World Championships (IM, 70.3 and ITU).
As the only triathlon website in English in Asia, the website, www.asiatri.com has 1,200 visitors per day. The top 5 countries to visit the site include Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Australia. The website includes updated race information and race pictures taken by Nat-Geo award photographer and AsiaTRI partner and MundoTRI CEO Wagner Araujo and AsiaTRI’s Vinicius Santana. Visitors to the site also have access to an updated, comprehensive calendar listing races in the region. The AsiaTRI Facebook page is a very active community, with 5,000 likes.
AsiaTRI looks forward to continuing to provide quality race information and coverage to the triathlon community in Asia and beyond. As quoted said by Wagner, “We are here to bridge the gap. If one athlete in Singapore wants to do a race in Thailand or at any of the neighboring countries, that athlete needs to find himself all information”.
