Asian Beach Games, to be held on November 17th in Phuket, meet the favorites


Thailand is hosting the 2014 Beach Games, on Phuket Island. The games is an exotic and tropical version of the Olympic Games and includes several sports that aren’t in the Olympics such as Individual and Mixed relay Duathlon, mixed relay Triathlon and Muay Thai.
Monday the 17th of December its both the Individual and Team Triathlon in the following format:
Mixed Team Relay Triathlon
Swim 300 m
Bike 8 km
Run 2 km
Sprint Triathlon
750 m, 20 km, 5 km
The Men’s race will have more than 40 athletes toeing the line representing countries from all over Asian including nations with little tradition in triathlon such as Mongolia, India, Myanmar, Syria or Sri Lanka, there’s also several seasoned triathletes with plenty of world class ITU racing in their belts who are certainly the favorites for the win, meet them:
